FairAir Estimate Checker.

Find out if your HVAC quote is fair — before you sign anything. Upload an estimate, quote, or bid from any HVAC company. We'll review the pricing, scope of work, and equipment recommendations against typical local standards and email you the results. There's no fee, and no obligation to use Bell Heating & Air for the work.

How it works

Three steps,
no homework.

You don't need to know anything about HVAC to use this. Just send us what the other company sent you, and we'll do the rest.

01

Upload your estimate

PDF, photo, or scan of the quote you received from another HVAC company. Doesn't matter who it's from — we don't share who you're checking.

02

Add a few details

Home size, system age, anything notable about the situation. A licensed Bell technician reviews the bid against local pricing, scope, and equipment standards.

03

Get the results by email

A written summary covering whether the pricing is in range, whether the scope is complete, and whether the equipment matches your home. Usually back within one business day.

Set expectations

What this service is — and isn't.

We built FairAir because too many homeowners sign HVAC quotes they don't understand and then find out later something was off. Here's exactly what to expect.

✓ What it is

An informational review of an existing estimate. A licensed Bell technician looks at the quote you received, compares it to typical pricing, labor, and equipment standards in the Brazos Valley, and tells you in plain language what looks fair and what doesn't.

  • Pricing reasonableness check
  • Scope-of-work completeness check
  • Equipment fit for your home
  • Written results by email

✗ What it isn't

Not a guarantee of final project cost, and not a replacement for an in-person inspection. Every home is different — load calculations, ductwork condition, and access all affect real pricing. FairAir is a sanity check on what you've been quoted, not a binding number.

  • Not a binding quote from Bell
  • Not an in-person inspection
  • No obligation to use Bell for the work
  • No pressure follow-up

Questions

About FairAir.

Yes. It's a complimentary service for homeowners in Brazos, Grimes, and Williamson counties. There is no fee and no obligation to use Bell Heating & Air for the work.
Homeowners in Brazos, Grimes, or Williamson counties who have received an HVAC estimate, quote, or bid and have not yet begun the work. Outside our service area we can't review — local pricing varies enough that our standards wouldn't apply.
Not at all. The FairAir review is informational. You're free to use the company that gave you the original quote, get more quotes elsewhere, or ask Bell Heating & Air to bid — whichever serves you best. We won't call to pressure you.
Three things: pricing (is the number in range for the scope), scope completeness (does the quote include permit, haul-away, duct adjustments, and other line items that are easy to leave out and bill later), and equipment fit (does the recommended system actually match your home's size and load — oversized and undersized installs are common HVAC quote problems).
